Carbon adsorption has numerous applications in removing pollutants from air or water streams both in the field and in industrial processes such as: Spill cleanup, Groundwater remediation, Drinking water filtration, Wastewater treatment, Air purification, Volatile organic compounds capture from painting, dry cleaning, gasoline dispensing operations and other processes.
Activated carbon is used in multiple applications for air purification, whether you are working to meet emission regulations to protect the environment and/or human health, reduce nuisance odors, produce ultrapure gas streams, and also used to recover valuable solvents for reuse.
SJN Carbons For Water Treatment And Purifications
The mesh sizes like 8×30, 12×40 and Minus 200 with respect to the quality level of 45 to 60 CTC and the Iodine Number of 900 to 1150 mg/gm are used for above applications.
For the Bacterial removal in the water, the mesh sizes like 8×16 , 12×30 and 20×50 with the silver loading percentage of 0.02 to 0.2% are used.
